Shipping Policy
Delivery & Shipping Policy
Reliable Delivery. Clear Timelines. No Guesswork.
At Moving Container Center, we take shipping seriously — because getting your container to you safely, on time, and without confusion is just as important as the container itself.
Whether you’re ordering a single 20ft unit or a full set of containers for a commercial project, our delivery policy is designed for efficiency, predictability, and peace of mind.
Delivery Coverage
We offer shipping to all 48 contiguous U.S. states. Deliveries to remote areas are available as long as the location is accessible by truck and cleared for container placement.
If your site has access restrictions, unpaved entry, slope, or specific permitting needs, please inform your sales representative ahead of time. We’ll help coordinate the most suitable offloading solution.
Standard Shipping Fee
We charge a flat-rate shipping fee of $650 per container, regardless of your location within the continental U.S.
There are no hidden charges or variable freight quotes. This flat fee includes:
- Route planning and freight coordination
- Access to local or regional transport partners
- Direct delivery to your provided address
- Communication of an accurate ETA
Please note: If you are ordering multiple containers, a separate delivery fee may apply for each unit unless consolidated delivery is arranged.
Delivery Timelines
Once payment is confirmed:
- Processing Time: 1–2 business days
- Delivery Window: 3–5 business days after processing
- Total Turnaround: Typically 4–7 business days from payment to delivery
All customers receive:
- A confirmed delivery ETA once your order is in transit
- Ongoing updates from your assigned sales representative
- A final delivery check-in before arrival
We pride ourselves on prompt coordination, minimizing idle wait times or unexpected delays. If we foresee a delay (e.g., weather or routing constraints), you’ll be notified immediately.
Delivery Method & Equipment
Containers are typically delivered via tilt-bed truck, which allows the driver to offload the unit safely onto level ground.
If tilt-bed service is unavailable in your area, or if your container requires crane-assisted offloading (e.g., due to terrain or height restrictions), this will be discussed and arranged in advance.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring ground access is safe and drivable
- Providing a level surface for container placement
- Being present or accessible during delivery (or appointing someone who is)
Our team can help guide you through local site prep recommendations to avoid offloading issues.
Shipping to Business Locations
For deliveries to commercial sites, warehouses, or freight yards:
- Provide receiving hours, gate codes, or access instructions
- Inform us if the site requires an appointment for unloading
- We can coordinate with on-site personnel or dispatchers as needed
We aim to make deliveries smooth, even in high-traffic or industrial zones.
Missed or Delayed Deliveries
If the delivery attempt fails due to inaccessible site conditions, refusal, or absence of a contact person, a re-delivery fee may apply.
Our team will do everything possible to ensure successful first-attempt delivery — including sharing exact ETAs, verifying access, and confirming placement readiness beforehand.
Delivery Support
From the moment your order is confirmed, your assigned sales representative will:
- Review your location details
- Walk you through access requirements
- Provide tracking and ETAs
- Ensure you’re prepared on delivery day
We don’t outsource communication — your rep stays in touch until the container is placed on your property and confirmed delivered.
